Day-to-Day:
  • Oversee the processing of financial invoices and records for assigned properties, including income, expenses, and general ledger entries.
  • Strong background with property management software using RealPage Financial Suite. Ability to optimize modules, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for property portfolios, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and final statement preparation.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, including bank accounts, escrow accounts, and tenant ledgers.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for each property.
  • Review and process invoices, vendor payments, and property-related expenses.
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate and partnership with the Housing leadership, regional team and property managers by translating financial data into actionable operational insights.'
  • Collaborate with Finance and Housing leadership to support budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus three to five years of general ledger, accounts payable, reconciliations and property software RealPage. Experience in affordable housing, property management or regulated real estate environments desired. Not-for-profit accounting experience preferred; knowledge of GAAP is necessary.
