Job description

Houseman - Full Time
Residence Inn Hotel, East Peoria, is looking for a dependable Houseman to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining clean and presentable public areas throughout the hotel and assisting with light maintenance tasks.
Schedule: 1st shift. Includes occasional weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hotel public spaces, including hallways, lobby, common areas, and other assigned areas
  • Assist with light maintenance and general upkeep throughout the property
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel grounds and common areas
  • Respond to cleaning and maintenance needs as assigned
  • Assist housekeeping and other departments as needed
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
  • Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be available to work occasional weekends
