A houseman in a hotel is a staff member responsible for supporting the housekeeping department by performing tasks such as moving furniture, delivering linens and supplies, cleaning public areas, and assisting with setup for events. Housemen often work behind the scenes to ensure that guest rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and well-stocked. Their role is essential in maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the hotel, contributing to a pleasant guest experience.

They often collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams to ensure guest areas are clean and well-equipped. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong communication skills, as Housemen play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for guests and supporting the smooth operation of the hotel's services.
