Job Overview:

This position will ensure the cleanliness of public areas, all conference buildings on property, outsourced businesses, and any other public properties under our responsibility.

General Responsibilities:

  • Consistently demonstrate S.E.E. (Smile, Eye Contact and Engage) and offer professional, friendly and excellent customer service.
  • Follow the cleaning checklist and have the ability to act quickly as needs arise.
  • Collect garbage and recyclables from common, employee areas and storage rooms.
  • Clean floors using recommended methods
  • Clean windows, dust furniture in public areas
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies in all bathrooms and public areas.
  • Ensure that all requests from guests and other employees are handled in a timely fashion.
  • Clean railings, elevators, window and ledges, floors, mirrors, light fixtures and sweep/vacuum stairs and hallways.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, public restrooms, office areas, elevator, and stairs.
  • Monitor the daily event calendar and have rooms available for scheduled groups.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Maintain safety awareness throughout the entire property.
  • Report all potential safety hazards to a manager immediately.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Housekeeping/Janitorial and customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license to drive to buildings on property and must be insurable on the company insurance policy.
  • Knowledge of chemicals.
  • Ability to:
    • Work any day of the week and any hour.
    • Work with minimal supervision.
    • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
    • Work as part of a team.
    • Communicate effectively.
    • Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.
    • Work well under pressure.
