Job description

HJ Staffing is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Workers to join our team and help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and order for our client facilities.

Job Schedule & Hours
  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Days: Monday through Friday (with some weekends required)

Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Worker, you will perform a variety of duties to ensure our client facilities remain sanitary, safe, and welcoming. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Performing combinations of cleaning duties to maintain order, sanitation, and overall cleanliness across assigned areas.
  • Cleaning, dusting, and straightening up designated facility spaces.
  • Collecting, sorting, laundering, transporting, and distributing linens and uniforms.
  • Monitoring and maintaining housekeeping supplies as needed.
  • Operating basic hand tools and cleaning equipment safely.
  • Strictly observing required safety precautions, especially when disposing of contaminated refuse.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating standard cleaning equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be physically able to lift between 25-50 pounds, as well as squat, stoop, or bend continuously as required for deep cleaning.
  • Legal/Background Requirement: State law requires a National and State Background Check as a condition of employment for this role.

  • DBHDD Background Check / Fingerprinting: $60.00
  • Drug Screening: $35.00
