What You Will Bring To This Role:
Now inviting candidates with keen attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a desire to create a memorable guest experience to apply for Housekeeping Aide and housekeeping positions at the Fairfield Inn and Suites on the Oceanfront.
The housekeeping aide is responsible for responding to guests service requests, cleaning common areas, and organize our launder service.
Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
  • Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow associates.
  • Walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
  • Complete projects such as:
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest vending areas, elevator landings, linen closets, and housekeeping department (to include storage areas)
  • Assist Room Attendant's with removal of their dirty linen and trash. And help with moving furniture, rollaways, flipping mattresses, etc.
  • Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist with cleaning if needed.
  • Before leaving section, collect all trash from the service landings and take to/dispose in outside trash dumpsters, per hotel procedures.
  • Vacuum guest corridors.
  • Deliver any clean linen to assigned sections
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of Housekeeping Area, linen rooms, storage closets and stairwells.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be able to stand/walk for an eight (8) hour shift. This position requires the following physical demands: pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing stairs.
  • Candidates must have open availability and be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous housekeeping/housekeeping aide experience preferred, but not required.
