Job description

A friendly, warm, and welcoming family in River Oaks is seeking an experienced Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to support their three school-aged children and help keep the household running smoothly starting at the end of August/Sept 1. The children are ages 9.5, 6.5, and 4.5 and are active, social, and involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. The family is looking for a professional career nanny who is confident working independently, brings positive energy to the home, and enjoys becoming a long-term part of a family's life.

This family has a wonderful history of long-term household employees and truly values loyalty, mutual respect, and longevity. They are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys supporting busy families, and can seamlessly transition between childcare and family assistant responsibilities while the children are at school. This family believes that happy employees create happy homes and strives to foster a respectful, positive, and collaborative work environment. They are looking for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, brings enthusiasm to their role each day, and is excited to become a trusted, long-term member of the household.
Schedule - 

  • Monday-Friday, 12pm-7pm. 
  • Family offers flexibility with start times (for example, beginning at 11:00am to complete errands or household tasks for extra hours)

Travel - 

  • Flexibility to travel with the family on occasion is appreciated but not required.
  • Family spends portions of July and August at their home in the Hamptons, and candidates willing to join temporarily are encouraged to apply
  • Opportunity for additional compensated travel, including occasional family trips such as Thanksgiving in St. Barths and back to London

  • School pick-ups and transportation to after-school activities and sports
  • Preparing after-school snacks and assisting with dinner as needed
  • Supporting homework and evening routines
  • Packing sports bags, organizing school supplies, and preparing for the children's daily activities
