Household Manager & Family Assistant

Location: Armonk, NY 10504

Employment Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week/15 hours guaranteed

Schedule: 3 days per week - preferred Monday-Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM (core hours).

Compensation: $30-$35 per hour based on experience

Start Date: Late August 2026

Requirements:

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for work-related driving

Key Responsibilities

Family Support & Child Assistance

  • Daily school pickup and transportation to evening activities and extracurricular practice(s)
  • Supervise and engage with children during afterschool hours
  • Support with scheduling and communication for school events, birthday parties, and extracurricular activities

Meal Support & Planning

  • Plan and prepare 2-3 dinners per week
  • Grocery shopping for specific meal items and household errands as needed
  • Kitchen cleanup and organization

Laundry & Linen Care

  • Wash, fold, and put away laundry for family and support kids with putting clothes away
  • Occasional dry cleaning drop-off and pickup
  • Maintain and stock laundry areas

Household Organization & Maintenance

  • Daily tidying, dishwasher loading/unloading, light vacuuming reset of the home
  • Organize high-traffic areas including mudroom
  • Prep home for weekly cleaning service
  • Support event and holiday hosting prep
  • Seasonal clothing swaps and donation prep as time permits
  • Occasional refrigerator clean outs and expiration management

Inventory & Errands

  • Manage household supplies, toiletries, and pantry stock
  • Coordinate Amazon and Costco subscription orders
  • Handle returns to USPS, UPS, and FedEx
  • Birthday gift shopping for children's parties

Pet Care

  • Daily 30-minute walk or active playtime with family dogs
