We're a busy, loving household with two young children and five beloved pets. Both parents work full-time in office settings, which creates a need for reliable behind-the-scenes support to keep the home running smoothly. The household includes two dogs and three kittens who are fully part of daily life, making pets a thoughtful and integrated part of the role.

This includes maintaining order in high-traffic areas, as well as overseeing basic home upkeep and household supplies.
The family appreciates a proactive approach, preferring action and good judgment over a long list of specific questions, and values someone who can anticipate needs, make decisions confidently, and keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, supporting family routines, and contributing to a warm, functional, and welcoming home environment.

  • Self-starter who sees what needs to be done and takes action without waiting for direction
  • Comfortable making judgment calls and prioritizing results over perfect processes
  • Understands that getting something mostly right is better than being stalled by perfectionism

  • Open to candidates with prior house management experience or strong transferable skills looking to grow
  • Resourceful, reliable, and ready to support a busy family in staying organized
Key Responsibilities
Household Organization & Maintenance
  • Create and maintain organization systems throughout the home, particularly in the mudroom, kitchen, and kids' playroom
  • Perform daily resets including light tidying, dishes, wiping surfaces, and vacuuming high-traffic areas

  • Occasional seasonal swaps for kids' clothing and bedding
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Occasional deep cleaning tasks such as baseboards, oven, and refrigerator
  • Clean and maintain humidifiers and air purifiers
  • Organize and rotate toys and activity gear
  • Support with one-off large clean-out and trash haul projects

  • Monitor household supplies and add items to the shared shopping list as you notice things running low
  • Bring packages inside the home
