Job description

A wonderful family in Milton, Georgia is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Full-Time House Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of their busy household. The family has three children, including an infant and children ages 10 and 6, and currently employs two au pairs who handle the majority of the childcare responsibilities. This role will focus primarily on household management, organization, and ensuring the home and family schedule run smoothly.
The ideal candidate is someone who naturally sees what needs to be done and takes initiative without requiring constant direction. Responsibilities will include family meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping and putting groceries away, family laundry and linens, unloading the dishwasher, maintaining organized household and children's spaces, keeping household supplies stocked, running errands and returns, coordinating and communicating with household vendors, scheduling appointments and services, managing deliveries, and helping maintain household systems and routines.
The House Manager will also help oversee the family's calendar and daily logistics, including coordinating with the au pairs regarding the children's schedules, school activities, extracurriculars, appointments, and transportation needs. While this is not primarily a nanny position, the House Manager should be comfortable around children and willing to step in occasionally when additional support is needed.
The family is looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, discreet, professional, and exceptionally organized. The ideal candidate will have a true service-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the family's needs. They are hoping to find someone who takes pride in creating a well-run, organized home and can become a trusted, long-term part of their household team.
