As a household assistant, your job duties may include scheduling home maintenance services, running errands, maintaining the family calendar, and setting appointments. You may also provide pet care, handle domestic projects like decluttering and organizing, and perform other light housekeeping tasks as needed. The qualifications for a career as a household assistant typically include a high school diploma or GED certificate, valid driver’s license, and clean background check.
