These roles are common in industries like retail, hospitality, food service, healthcare, and customer service. Many people choose hourly weekend jobs for flexibility, extra income, or to accommodate school or family commitments. Typical duties depend on the industry but often include customer service, stocking, cleaning, or basic support tasks.
