If you're looking for a place where you can make an immediate impact and build a long-term career, this is it. You'll work directly alongside an experienced finance leadership team in a highly visible role that influences the business every day. This company has an average employee tenure of 10 years, a collaborative, family-oriented culture, and a leadership team that values people who are willing to jump in wherever needed. Once you're part of the team, you're treated like family.

What you'll actually do:
  • Partner with the Director of Finance and FP&A Manager to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and support month-end close.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, perform variance analysis, and provide insights into business performance.

  • Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts that support leadership decision-making.

  • Help improve the speed and accuracy of the monthly close process by working alongside the Staff Accountant during close activities.

  • Track key performance indicators and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

  • Support process improvements that create efficiencies across the finance function.

  • Collaborate across the accounting and finance team, including having a "nothing is beneath me" attitude.

To be successful, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience without the degree (4 years+ with no degree)

  • 2+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Experience preparing financial reports.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • A collaborative, team-first attitude and willingness to wear multiple hats.

  • Someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

  • Nice to have: Experience with Power BI, JD Edwards (JDE), or other ERP systems, along with manufacturing or distribution industry experience.

Where and how much:
  • Full-time, onsite in Denver, CO, (Park Hill) five days per week. Candidates must currently reside in Colorado.
