Since 1985, Fox Subacute has specialized in pulmonary, neurological, and rehabilitative care for patients with degenerative neurological and neuromuscular conditions. We are recognized for providing high-quality care to tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent residents in both short-term and long-term rehabilitation settings.
What We Are Looking For
Fox Subacute at South Philadelphia is seeking highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) to join our interdisciplinary clinical team. As the only ventilator program in the region with a CMS 5-Star Quality Rating, Fox Subacute is recognized for delivering exceptional, evidence-based respiratory care to a medically complex patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and ongoing evaluations for ventilator-dependent residents
  • Initiate, monitor, and adjust ventilator settings based on clinical indicators, patient response, and provider orders
  • Provide tracheostomy care, airway clearance techniques, bronchial hygiene therapies, and oxygen delivery management
  • Identify and respond promptly to signs of respiratory distress using sound clinical judgment
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatment plans and care goals

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT required)
  • Proficiency in ventilator management and tracheostomy care preferred
  • Ability to function effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced subacute or long-term acute care environment
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Philadelphia, PA 19145 prior to start date
