Reports to: Director of Substance Use

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Location: 700 E. Court Street, Kankakee, IL 60901

Salary Range: $ 16.00


Duane Dean - Who we are:

For over 50 years, Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center has provided substance use treatment, intervention and prevention services to adults who reside in Kankakee, Iroquois counties and throughout east-central Illinois. Working in collaboration with our management organization, Rincon Family Services, since 2017, we have expanded our services to include violence prevention, workforce development, mental health and welcome center services.



Position Description – What the Role Entails:

  1. Collect urine from patients, following procedures.
  2. Monitor patients during the process.
  3. Basic computer skills
  4. Make sure urine is collected and processed on time.

Duane Dean’s Work Environment – What to expect:

  1. This is an office job which does not include remote or hybrid settings.
  2. Must be able to lift to about 50lbs. Describe the job location, whether it’s an office, remote, or hybrid setting. Include details about the workspace, such as layout, equipment, and any ergonomic considerations.
  3. This job requires you to work 6 days a week Monday – Saturday. There will be times hours will be adjusted accordingly.


Schedule:

  1. Standard work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. most days and Saturday 7:00 am. – 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. There will be flexibility in the scheduling as an employee cannot work more than 40 hours a week.
  2. There will be times when employee will work outside normal hours if assisted with outreach which would fall under “All other duties as assigned as needed.” Hours will be adjusted accordingly.
