Job description

Sign Installer

Kansas City, MO | Full-Time | 4-Day Workweek

Infinity Sign Systems is looking for a Sign Installer to join our install crew in Kansas City.

This is a hands-on job. You'll be outside, on job sites, working with tools, lifts, trucks, signs, and a crew that takes pride in doing good work. We install everything from channel letters and cabinet signs to pole signs, vinyl, and other commercial signage.

We're employee-owned, which means when the company does well, our team shares in that success through our ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). We want people who are looking for more than just a paycheck — people who want steady work, a good crew, and a place where they can build a future.

What You Can Expect
  • 4-day workweek, typically Monday–Thursday
  • Work based in the Kansas City area
  • Occasional travel, usually 1–2 overnight stays when needed
  • CDL preferred, but we'll help the right person get one with an employment commitment
  • Outdoor, hands-on work
  • Variety of job sites and projects—no two days are exactly the same
  • A team that cares about safety, quality, and getting the job done right
What You'll Be Doing
  • Assisting with the installation of channel letters, cabinet signs, pole signs, vinyl graphics, and other exterior signage
  • Loading, unloading, lifting, and setting signs and installation materials
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely
  • Reading work orders and learning to interpret drawings and blueprints
  • Assisting with basic electrical connections and wiring under the direction of experienced installers
  • Working from ladders, lifts, and elevated equipment
  • Communicating with your crew, project managers, and installation manager
  • Helping keep job sites safe, organized, and clean
  • Solving problems alongside your team when field conditions change
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, shows up ready to work, and takes pride in doing quality work.

A good fit would have:

  • Experience in construction, sign installation, carpentry, electrical work, fabrication, welding, or another skilled trade is a plus—but we're willing to train the right person
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
  • Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • A safety-first mindset

Up to 3 years of sign installation or related construction experience is preferred, but candidates with a willingness to learn and strong hands-on skills are encouraged to apply.

CDL is preferred, but not a dealbreaker. If you're the right fit, we'll help pay for you to get one with an employment commitment.

Physical Side of the Job

This job requires hands-on work. You need to be able to:

  • Work outside in different weather conditions
  • Work from lifts and elevated areas
  • Stand for long periods
  • Climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift
  • Lift and move up to 75 lbs when needed
About Infinity Sign Systems

We're proud of the work we do and the people who do it. You'll see our signs all over Kansas City, and you'll know you helped put them there.

If you're dependable, good with tools, eager to learn, and want to build a career with an employee-owned company, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and come build something you can point to and be proud of.
