Location: On-site (RV Resort / Hospitality Property)

Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Summary


The Head of Maintenance oversees all maintenance operations to ensure the property's facilities, infrastructure, and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role leads preventive maintenance efforts, manages staff, and supports overall property operations to maintain high guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily maintenance of buildings, RV sites, utilities, and common areas
  • Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Perform and supervise repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general systems
  • Lead, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff while ensuring accountability and safety
  • Respond to maintenance issues and coordinate with operations teams to minimize guest disruption
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and maintenance-related inventory
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve safety or maintenance issues
Qualifications


  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality, RV parks, resorts, or similar environments
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and make timely decisions
  • Experience managing vendors, supplies, and maintenance operations
  • Technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, or similar) are a plus
  • Experience with campground, marina, or utility systems is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
  • Valid driver's license required
