Senior Helpers of Melbourne is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, organized Registered Nurse to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN who wants meaningful work with flexible hours while helping seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes.

This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with clients, completing assessments, and working closely with caregivers and families to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Complete Start of Care assessments for home health and private duty clients
  • Perform nursing assessments and supervisory visits
  • Develop and update individualized care plans
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and family members
  • Educate clients and families regarding disease management and safety
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies
  • Maintain timely and accurate electronic documentation
  • Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight activities
  • Assist with new client admissions as needed
Qualifications
  • Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Home Health, Hospice, Case Management, or Geriatric experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
  • Current CPR certification
