Job description

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: 16 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

Active VA or compact license
Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI ,NIH
Experience: 2 years - minimum of 1 year adult ER experience - experience with conscious sedation required. 
MUST pass Advanced Arrhythmia Exam at Orientation
Unit Size: 30 beds, 14 Fast Track beds and additional hallway beds as needed.
Patient Population: All ages and medical complaints.  Not and adult trauma center.
Patient Volume: 120-130 patients/day.
Unit Staff: 1-2 triage nurses depending on time of day and patient volume.  RT’s, PCT’s, Phlebotomy, ED Tech’s and unit secretary available for ancillary support.
Provider Coverage: ED physician’s on staff 24/7 with ACP support as well.
Scrubs: Navy blue, white or any combination of the two colors.
