Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager of Ski and Ride School is a key operational leader responsible for supporting the daily execution and quality of ski and snowboard programming. This role includes oversight of scheduling, staffing, inventory management, and guest experience. The Assistant Manager reports to and works closely with the Ski and Ride School Managers and other leadership to ensure smooth operations, accurate labor management, and high-quality lesson delivery.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $27.00 - $32.14 
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027  
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  
  • Housing Availability: No  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned programming, ensuring lesson quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to meet business demand and financial goals.
  • Supervise support staff and team leads in lesson support, check-in, and check-out processes.
  • Maintain and improve indoor and outdoor facilities including base areas and learning zones.
  • Collaborate with Product Sales & Services to ensure appropriate instructor assignments.
  • Provide coaching and development for instructors and support staff.
  • Resolve guest concerns and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Uphold safety standards and company policies.
  • Stay current in the industry and participate in PSIA/AASI events.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication, leadership skills and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and RPOS
  • Minimum of two years working full-time at a ski resort
  • Leadership development and team collaboration
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • PSIA/AASI Level 1 or higher certification
  • Children Specialist or Adaptive certifications
  • College degree in education or related field
  • Experience supervising in a ski and ride school setting
  • 1 Year of inventory or scheduling management experience

The expected pay range is $27.00 - $32.14. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
