Position Overview

Himanshu Family & Marriage Counseling Service is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to bolster our therapeutic team. This remote position will allow you to utilize your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment while helping clients navigate their path to mental and emotional well-being.

Work Environment

As a fully remote practice, our Hospice Center provides therapists with the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a 40-hour workweek. You'll have access to a range of tools designed to facilitate remote work, including virtual meeting platforms and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy sessions to clients, addressing their unique needs in a structured yet flexible approach.
• Conduct and document therapy sessions promptly, ensuring thorough and accurate record-keeping in compliance with organizational policies.
• Manage scheduling for appointments with clients, maintaining an orderly and updated calendar for efficient service delivery.
• Utilize our billing service to handle claims, manage client accounts, and assist with benefit and eligibility checks to streamline administrative processes.
• Demonstrate a capacity for working with a diverse array of clinical presentations, adjusting therapeutic techniques as required to meet varying client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with range widely in age and circumstances, including individuals and couples facing relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, or mental health issues. Your role as an LCSW will be instrumental in equipping clients with coping strategies and therapeutic tools to navigate their struggles and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• State licensure as an LCSW to practice independently.
• Demonstrated professionalism and strong therapeutic boundaries are essential to ensure the well-being of clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage your caseload and scheduling obligations.
• Ability to work independently while also being a self-motivated, collaborative team member.

Preferred Experience

• While not mandatory, significant training or prior experience in couples therapy will be highly regarded, enhancing your ability to meet the needs of clients.
• Prior experience using EMR systems and engagement in ongoing professional development will be a plus.
• Availability to work at least 20-25 hours per week with a willingness to accommodate a minimum of two evening sessions per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The total annual salary for this position will range from $70,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience, along with a potential sign-on bonus. Our compensation structure allows therapists to be compensated at an hourly rate as W2 employees. Benefits include:
