Job description

Primary Function:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization with a primary focus on hourly recruiting and agency conversions. This will be achieved by employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly warehouse positions; including but not limited to managing requisitions in the applicant tracking system, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending and managing offers, assisting with background check screening and tracking and reporting data.
• Conduct regular follow up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness and timeline of recruiting plan and implementation.
• Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to identify hiring needs and workforce planning strategies.
• Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system including requisition and applicant status.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates. Talent Acquisition Specialist must access the most effective sources for drawing a strong candidate pool by posting openings online, with professional organizations and other appropriate venues.
• Create and maintain a process for converting agency employees to become Mastronardi employees.
• Provide regular staffing reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
Education/Background Requirements:
• College degree required
• Minimum two years previous recruiting experience required.
• Previous experience recruiting for a manufacturing environment preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to navigate within team and across lines of business.
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques including Boolean queries.
• Regularly exhibits a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivation.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Working knowledge of UltiPro a plus.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems required.
• Experience working on projects and balancing day to day work with projects.
• Strategic thinker and planning out how to attract candidates with the needed skills.
• Must be proficient in record keeping of the recruited candidates and performing all administrative duties.
• Must have the capability to build a strong network through various means and should be an expert in hiring the best possible talent for the organization.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
• Primarily works in an office environment.
• Some travel may be required.
