Description: 

The Set-Up Attendant is responsible for the physical set-up and turnovers of all Banquet events. Previous experience is not required.

  • Execute the set up and tear down of all banquet events to include-
    • Tables, chairs, and all miscellaneous equipment related to group events
    • Move air wall, linen, china, glassware, etc.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to live the Hyatt Values of Respect, Integrity, Humility, Empathy, Creativity & Fun
  • Inventory and regular maintenance of banquet equipment, supplies and facilities 

Rate of Pay: $14.25/hr service charge

Working Conditions: 

  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
  • Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
