Step onto the courts at Austin Country Club as our next full-time Racquet Sport Professional in Austin, TX. As a cornerstone in Texas's tennis community, we offer a high-energy environment where your passion for racquet sports and competitive experience will be celebrated. Here, you'll enjoy a role that is as dynamic as our thriving membership, with a pay structure that rewards your expertise - a percentage of private lessons, hourly rates for clinics, and for Sports Shop shifts. RACQUET SPORT PROFESSIONAL SCHEDULE:

Your schedule will feature afternoon and evening shifts, with weekend and holiday availability required. This full-time role also includes on-call opportunities, offering flexibility while ensuring you are part of the action when our members need you most.


YOUR DAY AS A FULL-TIME RACQUET SPORT PROFESSIONAL

You will assist with adult team clinics and junior programming, working with players of all ages and skill levels. Each day, you'll help run high-energy club tennis events and social mixers, teach both private and group tennis lessons, and step in for Pickleball instruction when needed. Managing the billing for your lessons through the POS system in the tennis shop will be a regular part of your routine. You will collaborate with an experienced and professional staff, contributing to an environment where every lesson and clinic elevates the member experience and supports the club's legacy of excellence.


WHAT'S REQUIRED?

  • Collegiate Division I tennis playing experience.
  • Tennis, pickleball and padel teaching certification
  • High performance tennis coaching experience
  • Ability to work effectively with junior and adult players across a range of skill levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A polished, professional, and member-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, energetic, and team-first attitude.
  • A desire to learn, develop professionally, and take on increasing responsibility within the racquet sports industry.
  • Ability to build relationships and connect naturally with members, families, and fellow staff members.
