Job description

Step into a rewarding contract role delivering physical therapy services within a supportive school environment. This opportunity is ideal for physical therapists who thrive in one-on-one settings and want to make a lasting impact. You’ll be working with a single high-needs student, ensuring your expertise can be fully dedicated where it matters most.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Physical Therapy (PT) License
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a high-needs caseload
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized physical therapy services tailored to one student with significant needs, following the student’s IEP and therapy goals
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and family members to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough, timely records of sessions and student improvement
  • Attend relevant team meetings and contribute valuable input to support the student’s development
  • Make recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed

Position Details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: 5/21/2027
  • 30 minutes of service per week, 1 day weekly
  • Caseload: 1 student
  • The position is based in Dime Box, Texas, near New Ulm
