Purpose of Position
TXHES is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Product Development Specialist to support the evaluation, assessment, and continuous improvement of products and services related to TMDSAS and affiliated initiatives. This role will coordinate evaluation activities, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, engage stakeholders across the health professions education community, and support innovation and product development efforts through evidence-informed recommendations.
The ideal candidate is skilled in program or product evaluation, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and translating findings into actionable insights that improve user experience, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate and support evaluation activities related to TMDSAS products, services, and operational initiatives
  • Design and implement evaluation plans, surveys, feedback mechanisms, and assessment processes
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare reports, summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
  • Interface with institutional partners, advisors, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and support collaborative evaluation efforts
  • Support product and service innovation through market research, benchmarking, and process analysis
  • Assist with identifying operational efficiencies and user-centered improvements across systems and services
  • Maintain documentation related to evaluation activities, recommendations, and outcomes
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and related experience in public administration, business, education, social sciences, health professions education, data analytics, or a related field

  • Familiarity with centralized application services, student pipeline programs, or workforce-related initiatives
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and facilitation
  • Experience translating data into operational or strategic recommendations
