Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite. No remote or hybrid options available.
Responsibilities
The Procurement Manager oversees procurement strategy for multiple projects while providing leadership to procurement staff. This position partners closely with Operations, Preconstruction, and Executive Leadership to ensure procurement decisions support company goals, project success, and long-term vendor relationships.
  • Lead procurement strategy across multiple projects
  • Develop procurement plans supporting project schedules and budgets
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier negotiations
  • Oversee buyout processes and procurement execution
  • Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage vendor performance and strategic supplier relationships
  • Lead procurement process improvements
  • Mentor Procurement Engineers and Assistant Procurement Managers
  • Monitor procurement performance metrics and reporting

What It Takes
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7-12 years of procurement, estimating, project management, or construction operations experience
  • Extensive understanding of commercial construction procurement
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience leading procurement teams
  • Commercial general contractor experience strongly preferred
