These drivers are typically paid by the hour rather than per mile, and they may drive vans, small trucks, or passenger vehicles. Common job duties include planning routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and complying with traffic and safety regulations. This position is ideal for those who enjoy travel and flexibility but do not wish to obtain a CDL.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an hourly non CDL long distance driver?

To thrive as an Hourly Non CDL Long Distance Driver, you need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and familiarity with road safety regulations. Experience with GPS navigation systems, route planning apps, and basic vehicle maintenance is typically required. These skills are crucial for ensuring timely, safe deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction over long distances.
