Melrose Park Logistics is a 3PL company that delivers packages to local businesses and residents in the Chicagoland area. We are currently seeking reliable and efficient Delivery Drivers to join our team.

Delivery drivers will arrive at the station at start time and load packages into their delivery vehicle. Delivery drivers will use a mobile device to navigate and deliver each package and ensure that they are delivered safely and properly to each customer. Delivery drivers will operate and drive the delivery vehicles in a professional and safe manner ensuring that obey the rules of the road which results in zero safety violations on the safety system(Netradyne). Delivery drivers will have performance standards that they must achieve on a daily and weekly basis.

  • This is a Full time position scheduled for 35-40 hours per week
  • $22.75/HR / Biweekly Pay (Fridays)
  • Shift: 10:25am to 8:25pm (or route completion)
  • You MUST have OPEN AVAILABILITY as the schedule includes 1 weekend (SAT/SUN) shift, and 3 weekday shifts
  • CURRENT DELIVERY AREAS ( NORTHWEST SUBURBS-NO CITY OF CHICAGO ROUTES)
  • All cargo drivers MUST be able to obtain a Non CDL Class C license and DOT card within 45 days of employment

Cargo routes consist of routes averaging 170 stops to 195 stops. Drivers are allowed to use “earbuds” for music, but the use of any phones are prohibited while on the clock. New hires will be required to pass a 3 day, paid training course in order to start making deliveries. Drivers will start off with nursery routes and must be able to complete all of their routes on their own daily.

Job requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid Driver’s License, pass a Motor vehicle report, background check, and be able to pass a drug test (no THC testing)
