Job Description – Executive Chef

Position: Executive Chef (Path to Culinary Director)

Location: Miami, FL – Design District

Compensation: $130K – $140K + Profit Sharing + Benefits


About the Role

A highly anticipated luxury hotel rebrand in Miami’s vibrant Design District is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision for a multi-outlet hospitality program. This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role responsible for overseeing menu development, operational strategy, and team growth, with a clear path to transition into a Culinary Director position as the property evolves.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead culinary operations across 4–5 F&B outlets, 3 pools, and in-room dining
  • Design and execute 10 diverse menus highlighting Mediterranean, Guatemalan, and coastal influences
  • Oversee pre-opening initiatives including concept development, staffing, SOP creation, and vendor onboarding
  • Establish centralized prep systems and streamlined workflows for operational efficiency
  • Manage P&L performance, menu engineering, food cost controls, and forecasting
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of 6 salaried chefs and 20+ hourly BOH employees
  • Partner closely with the F&B Director to deliver a seamless guest experience
