Position Overview:

The Multifamily Division within Freddie Mac is searching for curious, motivated, and collaborative individuals to support the division's objectives, projects, and strategic initiatives.

Freddie Mac Multifamily is a dynamic organization that provides interns with meaningful opportunities to gain exposure across the business while developing both technical and professional skills. As a Multifamily Business Intern, you will work on real-world projects, interact with professionals across the organization, and develop a deeper understanding of the Multifamily housing finance industry. This internship offers an opportunity to build business acumen, strengthen communication skills, and gain experience working in a mission-driven organization that supports housing affordability nationwide.

Our Impact:

Freddie Mac Multifamily helps deliver an ample supply of affordable rental housing by purchasing mortgages secured by apartment buildings with five or more units. We provide liquidity to the multifamily housing market by purchasing loans from lenders nationwide and securitizing them to support continued housing finance availability.
Our financing supports communities across the country-from large metropolitan areas to smaller markets-and serves a diverse population of renters, including students, working families, seniors, and underserved communities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, volunteer involvement, campus activities, work experience, or other extracurricular participation is a plus.
