Locum to Perm - Cardiologist (Non-Invasive) – Brattleboro, VT

Join a leading facility in Brattleboro, Vermont, for this outpatient cardiology role offering flexible scheduling (3-5 days/week), competitive hourly pay, and the opportunity to transition to permanent placement. Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, Brattleboro, VT

Start Date: 10/01/2026

Duration: Locum with potential for permanent placement

Shift: Flexible, 3-5 days/week, no call

Hours/Week: Varies based on schedule

Employment Type: Locum/Perm

License/Certs: VT medical license, BLS/BLS required (if applicable)

Experience: Board-certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

Pay & Benefits

Pay rate: Negotiable (Hourly pay discussed upon application)

What You'll Do

  • Provide outpatient non-invasive cardiology consultations at a well-established hospital
  • Perform diagnostic procedures including EKGs and echocardiograms
  • Collaborate with APRNs and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage an average of 16 adult patients daily in a supportive clinical environment
  • Document clinical encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
  • Contribute to high-quality patient care through diagnostic testing and follow-up
  • Assist with patient education and follow-up plans

What You Need

  • Active VT medical license or ability to obtain one
  • Board-certification or eligibility in Cardiology
  • Experience with outpatient cardiology procedures, including EKGs and echocardiography
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Preferred: Prior outpatient cardiology experience, familiarity with Cerner EMR, knowledge of ECHO and EKG interpretation
