Job description

Full-Time Licensed Clinician — Intera Counseling & Wellness

Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Compensation: $55–$70/hr for independently licensed clinicians (60% fee-split) Schedule: Flexible - set your own hours and caseload Benefits: Health insurance premium contribution, supportive admin/billing team and practice culture, CEU stipend provided

About Us

Intera Counseling & Wellness is a growing, clinician-owned group practice dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered mental health care. We're expanding our team and looking for a licensed clinician who's ready to build a full caseload in a practice that genuinely supports its providers - with dedicated admin and billing staff handling the parts of the job that get in the way of clinical work.

What We're Looking For

We currently have a need for clinicians who bring:

  • Experience working with children and/or an interest in expanding into pediatric/adolescent work
  • Interest in working with families and couples
  • Specialized training or certification in one or more of the following (not all required - tell us what you bring):
    • ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) for OCD and anxiety disorders
    • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
    • Trauma-focused modalities (e.g., TF-CBT, somatic approaches)
    • LGBTQ+ affirming care

If you have a specialty not listed here that you think would be a great fit for our client population, we'd still love to hear from you.

What We Offer

  • W-2 employment — full employee status with the stability and simplicity that comes with it (not 1099/contractor)
  • Flexible, self-set scheduling — build a caseload and weekly schedule that works for your life, not a fixed shift
  • Hybrid flexibility available - a mix of in-person and telehealth sessions
  • 60% fee-split for independently licensed clinicians (LPCC, LISW, independently licensed MFT), with an hourly equivalent typically in the $55–$70/hr range depending on caseload and payer mix; 50% fee-split for clinicians under supervision working toward independent licensure (LPC, LSW, MFT)
  • Health insurance premium contribution
  • Dedicated admin and billing support — we handle the insurance back-and-forth so you can focus on clinical work
  • A practice culture that values clinician well-being and sustainable caseloads

Qualifications

  • Independent or supervised clinical licensure in the state of Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or IMFT, MFT) - required; clinicians working toward independent licensure under supervision are welcome to apply
  • Experience working with children, families, and/or couples preferred
  • Specialized training in ERP, EMDR, trauma-focused care, and/or LGBTQ+ affirming practice a strong plus
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care
  • Commitment to timely clinical documentation - we hold a high standard for notes being completed promptly, and this is a priority for our team

Intera Counseling & Wellness is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants of all backgrounds.
