Job description

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Coord, Laboratory in Irvine, CA.

18 month contract paying $24.61 per hour


Your main responsibilities as a Coord, Laboratory:

· The Laboratory Coordinator primarily supports daily laboratory operations through laboratory glassware washing and preparation, inventory control, supply ordering, and sample handling.

· Responsibilities include washing, rinsing, drying, inspecting, and organizing laboratory glassware and reusable supplies; operating and cleaning laboratory dishwashers and autoclaves; monitoring inventory levels, performing routine inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, identifying replenishment needs, submitting and tracking supply orders, receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and monitoring expiration dates; and receiving, labeling, logging, staging, storing, distributing, transferring, and disposing of laboratory samples in accordance with established procedures while maintaining sample identification, condition, documentation, and traceability.

· The Laboratory Coordinator also prepares test supplies, maintains clean and orderly work and storage areas, completes cleaning logs, inventory records, sample records, equipment charts, and other required documentation, and enters routine information into laboratory approved systems.


What we are looking for in a Coord, Laboratory:

· The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer and mathematical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, the ability to read and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures in English, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively while complying with applicable safety and quality requirements.

· 0-2 years of laboratory, inventory, materials-handling, or related experience is preferred.

· The Laboratory Coordinator supports Biology, Chemistry, and Microbiology laboratory operations by monitoring workload, priorities, and staffing needs and providing support across all laboratory areas as needed.
