We have 2 shifts available:

Weekday Shift 2, Tuesday through Friday (4 10-hour shifts) 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Weekend Shift 2, Saturday - Monday (3 12-hour shifts) 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

YOUR OBJECTIVE

You are responsible for picking and packing product in preparation to be shipped to Life is Good customers. In this role, you may also assist in processing and shipping finished orders. Your work helps spread the power of optimism to a growing community of people who believe optimism is the most powerful way to live a healthy, fulfilling life.

YOUR ROLE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Order Picking: Selecting items from storage locations based on order specifications and quantity requirements. This involves accurately picking customer orders at designated picking stations or using an RF scan gun.
  • Order Packing and Shipping: Ensuring that picked items are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipping. This may involve using packaging materials, securing items in designated containers, and attaching shipping labels or documentation.
  • Quality Control: Conducting inspections of items to verify their quality, condition, and accuracy against order specifications. This includes checking for damaged items, or any other issues that may affect customer satisfaction.
  • Safety and Equipment Operation: Adhering to safety protocols and exhibiting sound safe behaviors. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and promote efficiency.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow, resolve any issues, and meet order deadlines. Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating tasks and maintaining productivity.

Other Duties:

  • Precisely follow any special instructions given by designated lead and shift supervisor for customer orders
  • Maintain general neatness of workstations and complete daily housekeeping assignments
  • Communicate any inventory level discrepancies and out-of-ordinary issues to the designated lead and Shift Supervisor
  • Attend daily start of shift meeting for daily assignment from designated lead and Shift Supervisor
  • Cross-train in other areas to assist during peak periods
  • Assist with bi-annual cycle counts as needed
  • Willing to work occasional overtime during busy times

Requirements

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Warehouse experience is a plus
  • You speak and write basic English
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling are continuously required activities of this position. Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting heavy objects up to 30-50 pounds frequently and use a stair ladder for retrieving overstock items required.
