Job Description
Job Title: Die Cutter Operator (Bobst / Brausse)

We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Bobst and Brausse die cutting equipment to produce high-quality folding cartons in a fast-paced packaging environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with flatbed die cutters and a strong understanding of carton converting processes, quality standards, and production efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Bobst and Brausse flatbed die cutters
  • Perform make-ready, including die installation, feeder setup, and registration adjustments
  • Run a variety of carton styles and substrates with precision and efficiency
  • Monitor production to ensure quality, consistency, and output targets are met
  • Inspect sheets for proper cutting, creasing, and stripping
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues to minimize downtime
  • Adjust press settings for optimal performance and waste reduction
  • Work closely with press and folder-gluer departments to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain accurate production logs and documentation
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience operating flatbed die cutters
  • Experience with Bobst and/or Brausse equipment
  • Strong understanding of die cutting processes and carton production
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and dielines
  • Knowledge of substrates including paperboard and folding carton materials
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in folding carton or packaging manufacturing
  • Familiarity with stripping, blanking, and tooling setup
  • Understanding of make-ready reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection processes
