Are you a self motivated and hands on individual who can work independently?
Sculpture Hospitality of San Diego currently has an opening for a Junior Auditor. This is an hourly position, and you must be punctual and willing to work early morning hours (i.e., 6:00 am - 2:00 pm).
Using our proprietary software and technology, the Junior Auditor will weigh product (e.g., bottles, kegs), perform an accurate inventory count via scanner, enter the control data into our system, download purchase and sales data from the client's POS and invoice websites, analyze the results, and prepare an electronic report that will be sent to the client for review and implementation.
Candidates must be proficient on a computer and with email. Microsoft Office is helpful and you must have reliable transportation. Some physical work is required, and you must be able to lift 150-pound keg of beer several inches off the ground and set it on a scale. This is all about technique, and we have both males and females who do this for us every day. Front of the house restaurant or bar experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates should have strong math and writing skills, an engaging demeanor, and strict attention to detail. Roughly half the job is physical collection of data, and half is computer work/analysis.
COMPENSATION
  • $41,600 - $72,800 / year

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Travels in personally-owned vehicle to client locations to provide service
  • Performs regularly-scheduled audits of client assets
  • Conducts audits using proprietary computer technology and equipment
  • Compares/analyzes inventory and sales data
  • Produces reports and develops electronic reports for clients/management
  • Briefs client on activity and results on an as-needed basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Additional coursework/training or a degree in a related field preferred
  • One year of experience in the hospitality or service industry preferred
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with liability insurance.
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong writing and math skills
  • Strong time management and anticipative skills
  • Strong analytical skills
