Job description

We are currently hiring Behavioral Health Tech to support our and residential behavioral health programs. BHTs play a critical role in delivering direct client/team support, meeting facilitation, compliance adherance and helping clients build the skills necessary for recovery and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to clients in group and individual settings

  • Monitor and document client behaviors, progress, and interactions

  • Conduct safety checks and crisis de-escalation when needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in EHR

  • Transport clients as needed to appointments or community services

  • Collaborate with clinical staff and participate in case reviews/team meetings

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • High School diploma or GED

    • 3+ year of behavioral health or direct care experience

    • Valid Arizona Driver’s License with clean MVR

    • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

    • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Preferred:

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field

    • BHT certification or eligibility under Arizona AHCCCS guidelines

    • Experience with SMI, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care
