**Infectious Disease Physician – Hartford, CT**
**Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease**
•Join a dynamic and collaborative team of 26 Infectious Disease Physicians, with a culture of inclusion, innovation, research, teaching, and high-quality care.
•Opportunity to practice across a broad network that includes academic medical centers, community teaching hospitals, and a large multi-specialty medical group.
•Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, responsibilities include:
oOutpatient consultations, including HIV and Hepatitis C treatment
oInpatient consultations at an academic medical center
oWound care management
oActive involvement in infection control and hospital epidemiology programs
oParticipation in post-graduate medical education (fellows, residents, and medical students), with academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level
oCollaboration with an active hospitalist program for inpatient care
oShared call responsibilities with other ID physicians
oOpportunities to work in transplant medicine
oAccess to research resources and opportunities
Qualifications:
oBC/BE Infectious Disease Physician
oLicensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut
