As a BoilerAttendant,you'lloperate, maintain, and overseesteamboilers,aircompressors,wellwatersystem,reverseosmosissystem,and all associated equipment, perform water/chemical treatments, andmaintainaccuraterecords. You willbe responsible fortroubleshooting equipmentissuesas necessary. Maintainall mechanical components including but not limitedto:valves, pumps, steam traps, piping, etc., within the boiler, compressed air, and water treatment systems, as well as associated auxiliary equipment.Perform water testing as needed, onboilerfeed-water,condensate,boilerwaterand plantcooling water. Adjust chemical feeds tomaintainproper levels based on the results of the chemical tests.Prepare water treatment and boiler chemicals asrequired, in a safe manner, using proper personal protective equipment.Maintainaccuraterecordspertaining tosystemsoperation, testing, evaluation, and maintenance, performed on all related equipment.Diagnose and correct operational problems associated with any of the systems in their area of responsibility.Assistand cooperate with outside contractors and vendors in the troubleshooting and repair of all associated equipment.RequirementsHigh School diploma or GEDrequired.3+ years ofexperienceoperatingindustrial boilersOtherExperience with water chemistry and testing preferredExperience with air compressors and dryers preferred The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.39.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
