Job Description

As a Live Shuffler, you will be responsible for shuffling, sorting and counting card games for all studio tables in a live streaming environment.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  • Present games in a live streaming environment adhering to a multi-state Gaming Commission Regulations, PT Services New Jersey regulations and live unit policies and procedures. 
  • Attend live gaming tables for card-change procedure according to the company's' procedures. 
  • Evaluate and keep track on the quality and visual look of the cards. 
  • Properly check and shuffle gaming cards at the card's counting rooms (hereinafter, CCRs). 
  • Follow internal shuffling procedure in the CCRs and all live gaming tables. 
  • Follow work rotation scheduled assigned when performing duties. 
  • Immediately report to the Pit boss of any risks or committed mistakes, problems and / or unusual activities in the gaming studios and other company's premises caused by other employees or other causes. 
  • Inform Pitboss in a timely manner to replace and/or receive new cards or deck of cards for each shift. 
  • Maintain and store playing cards in safe areas, equipment for the tables, and keep related documentation up to date. 
  • Attend training courses/workshops as required and strive to continually improve technical skills. 
  • Assist with training new shufflers if required by the management. 
  • Follow any updates and amendments shuffling procedures.  
  • Keep a professional demeanour towards players.  
  • Maintain professional and clear communication with management and peers. 
  • Adhere to gaming studios rules and any other rules that management may be introduced at any time. 
  • Keep confidential information within the company's authorized individuals. 
  • Perform any additional duties as instructed by management. 
Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 

  • High School Diploma / GED. 
  • Must be 21 years of age or older 
  • Basic computer skills- MS Office, electronic mail, etc. 
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers in a live streaming environment. 
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanour, including manner of speech, appearance, and posture in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to deal with potential guest conflicts professionally, maintaining Playtech's guest service standards. 
  • Ability to deal, shuffle, sort cards and other operating gaming equipment involving highly repetitive hand and arm movements. 
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Punctuality and attention to detail. 
  • Be able to wear assigned uniforms. 
  • Must be able to obtain a New Jersey Gaming license and West Virginia Casino Employee Registration. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 

  • Pay Rate: $16 + hourly perfomance bonus (Bonus range from $.25 - $4.00) 
  • Vacation Days: 5 days 
  • Sick Time: 5 days 
  • 10 Holidays pay

  • 401K - 4% match 

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS   

  • Prolonged sitting at counter highchair and tables 
  • Prolonged standing for up to 2 hours at time. 
  • ability to maintain physical stamina for extended periods. 
  • Repeated use of both hands and arms. 
  • Full mobility of upper extremities 
  • Ability to see and read a screen chat from 3 ft away. 
  • Ability to engage and communicate with customers while on live table. 
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.  
  • Ability to be on live cameras constantly with high beam lighting without protective eyewear.
