Job Description:

Instructor will teach classes for Workforce Community Services. Instructor will represent the college in a professional manner while instructingWCSstudents. Depending on the class, instructor will be responsible for course content.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have knowledge of rehearsal techniques and working with ensemble or applied lesson instructors in an educational setting.

  • Must be a skilled piano player able to adapt to different musical styles or genres.

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple performance assignments as well as preparations for all required performances.

Essential Functions:

  • Accompany applied lessons or ensembles as assigned.

Other Characteristics:

  • Applicant must be able to work well with faculty and students to create professional level performances and experiences.

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)

  • Minimum 3 years accompanying experience for a regularly performing ensemble.
