Job description

WHO WE ARE: Simpli.fi provides marketing technologies, solutions, and workflow automation for advertisers and agencies of all sizes. We specialize in helping organizations that operate across many locations, jurisdictions, or local markets-where location matters and incrementality counts-by uniting data, automation, and intelligence to drive measurable growth.
Our platform powers highly targeted, high-volume campaigns across omnichannel environments including CTV, native, mobile, display, and social. We deliver transparent performance with local precision at national scale. Simpli.fi enables marketers-from multi-location brands and independent agencies who serve them, to political, advocacy, and public-affairs organizations-to activate locally relevant messaging, measure real-world impact, and generate clear, actionable insights.
Simpli.fi is backed by leading private equity firms Blackstone and GTCR. To learn more, visit Simpli.fi.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Simpli.fi is seeking a driven, consultative Software Sales Director to support and grow our AMS business. In this role, you will manage and expand an existing book of business while actively prospecting and closing new agency accounts.
You will represent two industry-leading agency software platforms:
  • Advantage Software (agency management, accounting, and project management)
  • CoreMedia Systems (media workflow management and optimization)

This role is ideal for a SaaS sales professional who is comfortable leading a consultative, demo-driven sales process from discovery through close. Success in this position requires the ability to independently deliver software demonstrations, navigate more technical customer conversations, and position workflow and operational solutions to agency stakeholders.
While media industry experience is important, candidates do not need deep AdTech expertise or an extensive existing network to succeed. We are looking for someone with strong SaaS sales fundamentals, the ability to quickly learn complex platforms, and experience working with media, advertising, or agency-focused solutions.
This is a highly visible role within a lean, collaborative sales organization where individuals are expected to operate autonomously and own the full customer lifecycle across both new business and existing accounts.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Own the full sales cycle within your assigned territory, including prospecting, discovery, software demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and close
  • Independently conduct platform demonstrations and solution-based sales conversations without dedicated pre-sales or demo support
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of agency clients while identifying opportunities for expansion, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Prospect and close new business opportunities across advertising agencies and media organizations
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand operational workflows, media buying processes, accounting challenges, and business goals
  • Position tailored software solutions that improve agency efficiency, visibility, and performance
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
  • Stay informed on evolving agency, media, and advertising technology trends

YOU'LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consultative SaaS, software, media technology, or platform sales with a proven track record of success
  • Experience independently leading software or platform demonstrations and managing complex sales conversations
  • Strong ability to drive both new business development and existing account growth
  • Experience selling solutions into advertising agencies, media organizations, or marketing-focused businesses
  • Media industry experience required, though backgrounds may include digital, traditional, linear, broadcast, or cross-channel media environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a lean, entrepreneurial sales environment with significant ownership and autonomy
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience selling or supporting agency workflow, media management, accounting, ERP, or operational software platforms
  • Familiarity with Advantage Software and/or CoreMedia Systems
  • Experience working within an advertising agency environment
  • Understanding of media operations, media buying workflows, campaign management, or agency finance processes

WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS:
Awesome company environment and benefits with a great management team. Competitive pay based on experience, 17 PTO days, 401K match, long-term incentive plan and employer sponsored healthcare options. Hybrid work schedule. Fully remote options as well depending on the position. Company is focused on developing and mentoring employees!
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
