Automotive Technicianย 

Southern Motors Honda is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced service environment. You should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and brake inspections.
  • Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and make recommendations for repairs.
  • Repair or replace vehicle components including brakes, steering systems, engines, transmissions, and suspension parts.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed according to manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status.
  • Stay current with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive trade school or certification is a plus.
  • ASE Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and vehicle systems.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
