Diesel Technician – Bus & Motorcoach Fleet – $35–$45/hr – Mableton, GA

Star Coaches, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Mableton, GA. Pay

$35 – $45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and motorcoach vehicles (oil changes, filters, tire rotations, fluid checks)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel-powered buses and coaches
  • Inspect and service air brake systems, suspension systems, and hydraulic components
  • Conduct DOT safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members to complete repairs efficiently
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician or Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience working on diesel engines, buses, motorcoaches, or heavy-duty vehicles
  • Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ASE certification is a plus
