Salary Range: $ 152,000.00 to $ 190,000.00

Position Summary

The Sales Director is responsible for delivering incremental, profitable sales growth across the assigned Southeast geography by expanding new business, increasing penetration within existing accounts, and shifting competitor share to SKF. This leader drives a disciplined growth operating system across the region—setting clear targets, building pipeline and conversion rigor, and ensuring field execution through distributors and direct customer engagement. The position partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize the right market segments, opportunities, and initiatives within the industrial aftermarket sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver a regional sales growth plan, including new business acquisition targets, competitor displacement goals, and account penetration priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable to prospecting discipline and opportunity conversion.
  • Build joint growth plans with key distributor leadership.
  • Execute pricing, value proposition, product, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Run monthly regional reviews to drive pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Coach and develop high-performance sales teams.
  • Build talent capability in competitive selling and growth mindset.
  • Lead key customer and distributor relationships.
  • Own regional escalation and resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with pricing, quoting, operations, product and marketing teams.
  • Remove barriers to competitive wins.
Operational Excellence
  • Monitor pipeline coverage, win rates, and conversion metrics.
Strategic Communication
  • Lead monthly RAC reviews.
  • Communicate performance and growth actions.
Qualifications

Education: BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or related field.

Experience: Proven sales leadership with incremental growth and competitive share gain.

Technical Skills: CRM, Microsoft Office.

Other: Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and value-selling skills.
