Job description

SUMMARY
Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Dozer Operator for our portable concrete plant(s). The Dozer Operator is responsible for mainly operating a dozer and skid loader in a safe, effective, and efficient manner to prepare concrete plant set-up. This work requires considerable skill in manipulating the equipment and constant attention to safety of operation in the yard. Operators will assist other crew members with general labor when work is complete.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safely and skillfully operate Dozer and other standard concrete construction equipment such as a skid loader.
  • Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repairs (e.g. lube, oil changes, simple adjustments, replacement of minor parts, etc.) on a daily basis.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-use safety inspections on equipment.
  • Assist recycling crews in daily concrete crushing production when equipment work is done.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate safety equipment and using excellent safety practices, while visiting job sites per CTI policies, OSHA, and Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Perform other job related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of previous operating experience required.
  • 2+ years proficient excavators experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability required.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of work quality.
  • Excellent time management skills. Work well under time constraints and respond positively to change.
  • Able to be flexible with last-minute schedule and location changes.
  • Must pass post-conditional offer of employment physical.
