Purpose of the Position:

Under general supervision this position is responsible for processing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and optimize the performance of our supply chain operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and proficiency with data visualization tools and statistical software.  

Essential Functions

Organize data from multiple sources within the supply chain (e.g., inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, etc.). Utilize data visualization tools like power BI to improve current dashboards.
Ensure data quality by identifying and addressing data inconsistencies, errors, or gaps.
Use data-driven insights to assist in decision-making processes and recommend process improvements.
Create and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost savings, inventory management, and on-time delivery.
Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data in an easily understandable format for stakeholders.
Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management based on data trends and analyses.
Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of supply chain strategies and suggest adjustments or optimizations.
Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies or systems such as Future System Landscape
Collaborate with other Global Service & Parts Hub to ensure alignment on KPIs and processes.

Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws.  Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to management, including your supervisor, or the Safety Department. Work safely 100% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business Administration, or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional Experience:

Relevant professional experience in the following area(s):

Information system environment, end user support, system design & development, database design, development & administration, can include project management experience

Experience:   

Entry Level: Co-op/internship and/or up to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Experienced Level: A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Senior Level: A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:  

Availability to resolve critical IT related problems or to meet critical deadlines. 
Ability to work well with team members, internal and external customers, and outside vendors.  
Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly, possess excellent organizational skills and capable to accept change. 
Work independently and make decisions that require initiative and judgement in order to effectively execute various work assignments. 
Ability to create and generate custom queries and reports based on business needs. 
Ability to guide analysis and discussion of issues to resolve conflicts and drive collaboration across the organization. 
Ability to support phase in service parts for past and current products, have a working knowledge of relational databases and best practices. 
Working knowledge of Outlook applications. 
Excellent research , analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
Proficiency in the use of PC and network based system software such as Windows XP, Microsoft Office including MS  Access, MS Project. 
Project planning and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Proven experience (2 years) in data analysis, preferably within a supply chain or logistics environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI)
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and systems (e.g.inventory management systems).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
