Job description

DeLeers Construction is looking to expand our sales team. As a design-build general contractor, DeLeers specializes in commercial properties and high-end residential homes. We are specifically looking to add someone to our sales team who has 5+ years of experience with selling commercial construction design services (design/build). Sales Consultants enjoy working the sales process including prospecting and relationship building, advising the customer on building design and layout, working with Architects and designers, and coordinating with our in-house pre-construction and estimation teams for the final project agreement.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a commercial construction project manager and sales experience in commercial construction services. Previous hands-on experience in the trades (ex. carpenter) is preferred but not necessary. This role requires someone with the drive to seek out new business (hunter mentality) and the ability to foster a positive relationship with customers through a longer sales process that can take several months or more.

DeLeers has the reputation for high quality, unique and detailed construction. We are known for working with our customers to create the buildings that meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Being in the construction industry for over 80 years, DeLeers has built a long-standing reputation with our customers for quality, which creates long term relationships and return customers.

DeLeers offers employees a full benefits package including health, life, dental and disability insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401K with match, profit sharing program and more.

Our Sales Consultants are provided with a company car to successfully navigate the needs of their sales territory. The sales territory is only in northern and eastern Wisconsin, including Door County and the Fox Valley, so travel has very few overnights per year. Sales consultants generally spend 30% of their time in office.

New Sales Consultants are paid a straight salary to start, but then will move to a sales and commission basis after 12-24 months based on sales performance, with uncapped earning potential.
