Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards and client expectations.

The Project Manager serves as a central point of coordination between clients, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments. Success in this role requires strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.


Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocations

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents

  • Coordinate closely with field supervision and subcontractors to maintain efficient workflows

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and schedule adherence

  • Resolve constructability and coordination issues as they arise

Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Establish and manage project budgets, tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle

  • Review subcontractor and supplier pricing, billings, and invoices for accuracy and compliance

  • Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions

  • Manage change orders and financial forecasting

Communication & Team Leadership
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

  • Lead project meetings and provide clear updates on schedule, budget, production, and risks

  • Mentor and support project engineers, foremen, and project team members

  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and projections

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners

Risk Management & Problem Solving
  • Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies

  • Address unforeseen challenges efficiently and collaboratively

  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project

Quality Control & Safety
  • Ensure all work meets established quality standards and project specifications

  • Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on all projects

  • Identify and address jobsite hazards in coordination with field teams

  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of construction challenges


Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
    (Drywall and metal framing experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls

  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Plexxis, OnCenter) and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards
